Circle
Time is when the children gather around for stories, songs or games. It is
also time for discussing rules, conflicts or anything else experienced by the
children, e.g. on holidays or at the weekend
|
|
|
Topics
of interest and projects are dealt with in depth. The children are encouraged
and supported in their development, taking into account the age of the
children in the particular group. Among other things, the eldest group can
take part in pre-school activities.

An
external music teacher comes once a week for music lessons. The music lessons
are held for small groups of different ages in a separate room. The
kindergarten is equipped with rhythmic instruments.
|
|
|
Led
by one of the teachers, the arts and crafts lessons take place in our special
kindergarten-workshop. Arts and crafts are taught in small groups, where the
children are free to apply numerous kinds of creative techniques and
work with various materials (e.g. wood, clay, natural materials).

Once a week the children have sport at the kindergarten. All of the children are
invited to participate in soccer training on Tuesday afternoons. Plus, the children go to
several different playgrounds in the immediate area very often. There they have the opportunity
to play freely.

|
|
The
teachers can take the children to the Isar, go to the woods or visit
one of three local playgrounds. Depending on the current theme, outings
to other places are also arranged, e.g. to the zoo, to the forest reserve in
Poing, to a museum or to the library.

We frequently enjoy having parties to celebrate
many national and international holidays, including Halloween,
Saint
Martin's
lantern festival, Feast of Saint Nicholas, Christmas, Carnival (Mardi Gras),
Easter, Mother's Day and, last but certainly not least, our Big Summer Garden
Party.

As
a special treat at the end of their time in kindergarten, all children starting
school next fall go on a three-day trip to a farmyard. During the day, the children can
go for walks, discover the farm,
its animals, buildings and farming equipment, as well as enjoy
themselves at the playground. A night walk (with flashlight) and
a campfire are among the highlights of the trip.

Every year the
parents organize a four-day skiing trip for children age four and older.
A bus picks up the children and takes them to the ski resort, where they
have lessons and are taken care of by the ski school all day.
